Our Mission

Be an Agent of Social Change through harnessing the Power of Collective Impact.
Source healthy pantry food, distribute the food to groups working with the disadvantaged. 
Be the voice for those experiencing hunger in South Australia

In 2012 Foodbank SA:

• distributed 1.5million kilograms of food
• at a cost of $1.5million to our 600 welfare agency customers
• with a retail value of $7.5million (thus a saving to the welfare sector of $6million)
• which we estimate assisted over 140,000 people in South Australia
• by distributing enough food for 3 million meals
